Wilderness First Aid training teaches you how to appropriately manage illness and injury when transport to the nearest treatment facility will take hours or days due to being in remote rural locations, wilderness areas, or even urban areas during disaster situations. Designed for those who work or travel in remote locations, this course will teach you what to look for and what to do in the event of an emergency, and will direct you to the most appropriate type of care. It is accepted by state health departments across the USA and is recognized by national organizations such as the American Camp Association and the Boy Scouts of America.

Prerequisite: prior CPR & First Aid certification is required, but a current or expired certification will be sufficient. (Click here for an initial certification class: CPR/AED or First Aid)
