Training & Education
Community Members and Healthcare Professionals
Keystone Community Rescue is a locally owned small business serving communities throughout Central and Eastern Pennsylvania. We specialize in small class sizes and as a mobile service we bring the training to you.
This is an instructor-led course that teaches how to perform CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. It is intended for community members with or without prior training including parents, teachers, police officers, firefighters, and others.
The instructor will provide information on how to manage common injuries and illnesses, as well as new and updated content on the use of hemostatic dressings and the application of tourniquets to stop severe bleeding. Students will learn how to use an epinephrine auto-injector, recognize the signs and symptoms of a stroke, differentiate between heart attack and cardiac arrest, and more.
Family & Friends CPR Course is a video-based, classroom course for anyone who wants to learn "hands-only" CPR, though we will also discuss giving rescue breaths. We will practice how to perform CPR for adults, children and infants, how to use an AED, and how to relieve choking.
