First Aid: 8am - noon

This course has been updated to include the most recent information and is ideal for community members, first responders, or anyone who wants to be certified to perform first aid. The instructor will provide clear, concise information on how to manage common injuries and illnesses, as well as new and updated content on the use of hemostatic dressings and the application of tourniquets to stop severe bleeding. Students will learn how to use an epinephrine auto-injector, recognize the signs and symptoms of a stroke, differentiate between heart attack and cardiac arrest, and more.


CPR & AED: 1pm - 5pm

This is an instructor-led course that teaches how to perform CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This course adheres to the 2015 International Consensus Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiac Care. It is intended for community members with or without prior training including parents, teachers, police officers, firefighters, and others.


You can sign up for either class for $40 or both for $75. Certifications are good for two years and are issued through the Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) in association with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).

Participants under age 18 require special permission.
